    Recipe Introduction

Supposedly a kid favorite, but I’ve noticed that adults tend to hang around the plate, too!

    List of Ingredients

10 c. plain popped corn, unpopped kernels discarded
    ½ c. dry roasted peanuts
    4 c. miniature marshmallows
    3 T. butter
    1 T. creamy peanut butter
    1 c. peanut butter chips
1 c. candy coated baking chips (I used mini M&Ms)

    Recipe

Place popcorn and peanuts in a very large mixing bowl. Butter a 9x13” baking pan; set aside.

Place marshmallows, butter and peanut butter in a 2 qt. glass measure or casserole dish. Stirring midway through cooking, microwave on HIGH until melted, 3 – 4 minutes. Add peanut butter chips; stir constantly until smooth.

Drizzle mixture over popcorn in bowl; toss until will mixed. Fold in candy-coated baking chips until evenly distributed. Press popcorn mixture into prepared pan; cool completely. Cut with serrated knife when cooled.

    Makes 16 bars.

VARIATION: Combine 2 T. butter and 1 c. chocolate chips in a 1 c. glass measure. Microwave on HIGH until soft; stir until melted. Drizzle chocolate evenly over popcorn mixture. Let chocolate cool and harden before cutting bars.
