Recipe Introduction


The two Mikes (my husband and brother-in-law) would not think it was Christmas if tins of these weren't under the tree with their names on them. Really good cooky!





List of Ingredients



• 12 oz. chocolate chips
  
• 2 T. instant coffee - dissolved in 2 t. boiling water
  
• 1 1/4 c. flour
  
• 3/4 t. baking soda
  
• 1/2 t. salt
  
• 1/2 c. soft butter
  
• 1/2 c. sugar
  
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
  
• 1 egg
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
   
2. Melt chips. Cool to room temperature.
   
3. Combine dry ingredients.
   
4. Combine butter and sugar, beat until creamy. Add egg. Mix well. Add cooled chocolate. Gradually add in dry mix.
   
5. Bake 10 minutes.
