Easy and delicious baked "fries". They come out crisp and browned and quite fried looking.
List of Ingredients
Russet potatoes, cut and soaked in water for up to one day
Olive oil
Salt Recipe
Remove the crumb tray (on the very bottom of the oven) and heat the CSO on convection at 450F for a good half hour. Drain and dry the potatoes VERY well.
Toss the potatoes with a little olive oil and salt. Spread out on the baking tray so they are not touching. (I put down non-stick foil first.) Place in the CSO on the very bottom and change to Steam/Bake - still at 450F. Bake for 15 minutes and turn the fries over. Continue to bake until golden brown - probably another 15+ minutes.
