    Chewy Brownies

    Source of Recipe

    Unknown

    Recipe Introduction

These are a good, basic and chewy brownie. When I did a taste test between these and the Cakey Brownies, these were the clear favorites. I made them with Hershey’s cocoa, since that was what I had on hand, but I think that I will try them with a better quality cocoa next time. You can embellish these however you like. Baked in a brownie pan, these made very thin brownies. I think that I might double the recipe and cook for longer for a thicker brownie. Truly easy to put together – the hard part is waiting for them to cool!

    List of Ingredients

    1 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 t. salt
    1 c. all purpose flour
    2 t. vanilla

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a 9x13 inch greased pan with parchment paper.

Combine all of the ingredients. Mix until well combined. It should be very thick.

Spread mixture in prepared pan. Bake for 30 – 40 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares (a pizza cutter works well for this).
