    Croissant Panini w/ Banana & Nutella

    Adapted from Everyday Food magazine May 2007

    Recipe Introduction

    Delicious little desserts that can be put together ahead of time (just wrap them in plastic) and done at the last minute. If you don’t have a panini maker, just cook them in butter in a sauté pan, like grilled cheese. This is also fantastic made with Bischoff Cookie Butter in place of the Nutella. I drizzled some dulce de leche over the top and sprinkled with sliced toasted almonds.

    List of Ingredients

    6 mini croissants
    2 bananas, thinly sliced
    Nutella

    Recipe

    Slice the croissants in half and spread the cut sides with Nutella. Place the banana slices on one side and put the croissants back together. Cook in the panini maker according to directions.

    Serves 4-6.
