    Bloody Mary Dip

    Recipe Introduction

When I made this, I found it to be a bit bland, even with LOTS of the items that you are supposed to add 'to taste'. Cream cheese and mayonnaise tend to 'bland things out', so you have to add a lot of horseradish, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt and pepper. I think doubling the vegetables wouldn't be a bad idea either. I also added some Worcestershire also. After all the adjusting it tastes really good and is a great alternative to onion/ranch/blah-blah-blah dips! Serve with crudites, crackers and chips. This recipe makes a crapload of dip - you could cut it in half and have enough for 8-12 people probably, especially if it's one of two dips being served.

    List of Ingredients

    3 cups cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup V8 juice
    1/3 cup tomato puree
1 large green bell pepper, finely minced
    1/2 cup finely minced onion
    1/3 cup finely minced celery
    1/3 cup mayonnaise
    Horseradish, lemon juice, Tabasco Sauce
and salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe

Put all of the ingredients in a food processor. Adjust seasonings to taste.
