John's Artichoke and Spinach Dip

List of Ingredients
- 1 can artichoke hearts
- 1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
- 1 stick butter
- juice of 1 lemon
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 C Parmesan
- 1/4 C breadcrumbs
- 3 T chopped parsley
- garlic salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Drain and chop artichokes somewhat fine. Melt 1/3 stick butter and pour over artichokes with lemon juice. Season with salt, pepper (and basil or dill, if you like).
- Cook spinach and drain thoroughly. Add remaining softened butter, cream cheese with breadcrumbs, 1/2 the Parmesan and the parsley. Mix well and cover with remaining (or more) Parmesan. Cook at 350 degrees until slightly brown and bubbly (30 minutes or so).
Final Comments
Serve with crackers and bread.
