    Recipe Introduction

Good, easy and it reheats great in the microwave. This is good served with a side of sausage gravy and a fruit salad.

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 small onion, chopped (about ¼ c.)
    2 ½ c. frozen loose-pack hash brown potatoes
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
¼ c. chopped green onions (with tops)
    1 ¾ c. milk
    1 c. Bisquick
    4 eggs
    ¼ t. salt
    1/8 t. pepper
    ¼ c. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz.)

    Recipe

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a glass pie plate, 10 x 1 ½ inches. Cook sausage and onion in a skillet, stirring frequently, until sausage is fully cooked; drain. Mix sausage mixture, potatoes and 1 c. cheese in pie plate.

Beat remaining ingredients except ¼ c. cheese with wire whisk or hand beater until smooth; pour into pie plate.

Bake about 40 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with ¼ c. cheese. Bake about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    Serves 6 – 8.
