Recipe Introduction
So good. Serve with bread and a big salad. Doubles very well.
List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs. medium or large shrimp, unpeeled
- 4 T. butter
- 4 T. olive oil
- 2 T. chili sauce
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 lemon - thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic - minced
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1 t. minced parsley
- 1/4 t. paprika
- 1/8 t. oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 t. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 t. hot pepper sauce
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 1 lemon sliced, for garnish
Instructions
- Wash shrimp and spread in a shallow pan. Don not peel shrimp. Combine all remaining ingredients except garnish in a sacepan; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Spoon sauce over shrimp, cover and marinate in refrigerator for several hours. When ready to serve, bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 20 - 30 minutes depending on size of shrimp. Garnish with lemon slices.

Serves 4 as a meal, or 8 as an appetizer.
