Jessie Bear's Apple Pie Sauce

List of Ingredients



• apples - peeled, cored, sliced
  
• butter
  
• sugar
  
• lemon juice
  
• maple syrup
  
• cinnamon
  
• cloves - a little goes a long way
  
• nutmeg
  
• ginger
  
• apple cider
  






Instructions



1. Saute the apples in the butter until golden. Add a little cider and simmer until apples are tender. Mush up the apples with a potato masher or fork. Add sugar, lemon juice (this is mostly so the apple don't discolor), maple syrup, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and ginger to taste. If it isn't saucy enough, you can add more cider.
