Sharon’s Baked Pineapple Casserole

Recipe Introduction
When I make a ham, I almost always make baked pineapple. My regular recipe is good. This one is fantastic – the best I’ve ever tasted.
List of Ingredients
4 c. torn white bread
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar (she uses less)
2 beaten eggs
1 16 oz. can crushed pineapple (NOT drained)
Recipe
Heat oven to 350F. Butter an 8x8 baking dish.
Mix all ingredients and pour into the pan. Bake about 45 minutes – the top should be caramelized.
Serves 6-8
