    Jessica asked me to make a section of my “Fixed Up” dishes – convenience foods that I add this and that to that have become family favorites. Many of these “recipes” are really just a list of ingredients that need to be added “to taste”. All of the amounts in this recipe are approximate.

    List of Ingredients




    Package of hot dogs (we prefer Kirkland, Nathan’s, or Hebrew National)
    Butter
    Your favorite BBQ sauce

    Recipe



    Do a shallow spiral cut on each link. Slowly fry in butter in a sauté pan until they are hot and as dark as you like (we like them pretty charred). A couple of minutes before they are ‘done’, brush with BBQ sauce and finish cooking.
