    Whomp Cinnamon Roll Fix Up

    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    Recipe Introduction

This is a ridiculous recipe. And somewhat embarrassing. But really, really sinfully good. It is one of those internet hacks. I’d been seeing it around and finally decided to give it a try. You can also halve the recipe (that’s what I did) and cook it in a pie tin or cake pan. I think that maybe I should have flipped the rolls over when I took them out of the pan because on the plate there was lots of seepage of what amounted to a thin caramel sauce. If I’d have flipped it, I think that would have seeped back into the rolls.

    List of Ingredients

10 Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls (two refrigerated tubes/cans)
    1 cup light brown sugar
    1 cup heavy cream

    Recipe

Heat the oven to 350F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray (or line with non-stick foil). Remove rolls from the tubes and set the icing aside to use later.

Place the rolls in the pan (the author of the recipe suggests 4 rolls down the center and 3 on each side – I like to make sure they touch because I like soft sided rolls). Mix the cream and the brown sugar very well and pour over and around the rolls.

Bake for 32-36 minutes (make sure not to overbake). Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Take the rolls out of the pan (see my note above re: flipping the rolls when removing from pan). Spread the icing over the rolls.

    Best served warm.
