Father's Day Banana Splits

Recipe Introduction


Mr. Kim requested banana splits for Father's Day dessert 2006. I decided to gild the lily, as usual! This is the result. Use really good ice cream!!!


List of Ingredients




Chocoate ice cream
Vanilla Bean ice cream
Black raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream
1 batch Caramel Sauce (see my recipe)
1 batch Chocolate Sauce (see my recipe)
1 batch Pineapple Sauce (see my recipe)
Baby Bananas (one per person)
Granulated sugar
Fresh Whipped Cream
My Cinnamon Pecans (see my recipe)
Maraschino cherries, dipped in chocolate or dried cherry chocolates



Recipe



Slice the bananas in half, lengthwise and dip in sugar, pressing well into it. Using a torch, caramelize the sugar (like you do for crème brulee). Set aside.

Build each ‘split’ using all the ingredients.
