    I’ve been making the snickerdoodle recipe for a few years now and decided to try to find a better recipe for a quick and easy, but good Christmas sugar cooky. This is a much better tasting cooky and easier to make, too.

    List of Ingredients




    1 box Betty Crocker™ Gluten Free yellow cake mix
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 egg
    Colored sugar

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350F. Mix together the cake mix, butter, and egg. Shape dough into teaspoon-sized balls and place 2-inches apart on a parchment lined cooky sheet. Flatten cookies with the bottom of a glass that has been dipped into colored sugar.

    Bake for 9-11 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes. Carefully transfer to a rack to cool completely.

    Makes about 18 cookies.
