    Judy sent this recipe to me in response to a request from me for family recipes.

    List of Ingredients




    3 lb. peaches, scalded, peeled and finely chopped
    1 3/4 oz. pkg. powdered pectin
    5 c. sugar
    1/4 c. light rum

    Recipe



    Combine peaches and pectin in large pot. Place over hight heat and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Add sugar all at once and stir. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil 1 minute.

    Remove from heat, stir in rum, stir for 5 minutes and skim off foam.

    Process in jars.
