Recipe Introduction


These make great ornaments for the tree, decorations and gift attachments. I have only made them for Christmas, but you could do them for any holiday. Decorate with glitter, dimensional paint, etc. You can also ‘emboss’ them with a toothpick.


List of Ingredients




1 c. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. water


Recipe



Blend salt and flour. Add water a little bit at a time. Knead 7 – 10 times until firm. Roll ¼” thick. Cut out with cooky cutters. Make a hole for the hanger. Bake at 325 degrees until browned and fairly hard, about 15 minutes. When cool, decorate. Varnish when dry.
