Honey, Bacon, Brie & Walnut Flatbread

    Source of Recipe

    plainchicken.com

    Recipe Introduction

We had a three flatbread pizza meal for Jessica’s 32nd birthday. This ended up being the most popular one. It is incredibly easy and delicious. I used pecans because that’s what I had, but I’m sure that the walnuts would be great. Slicing the Brie thinly is much easier if you place it in the freezer for 15 minutes. You can broil these, as directed, or bake them at 400F for until the cheese is melted and golden. We all thought that this would be even better with a good grind of black pepper or black pepper infused honey.

    List of Ingredients

2 packages Stonefire Original Naan (4 flatbreads)
    1 lb. thick sliced bacon
8 oz. brie cheese, sliced thin
    1/4 cup honey
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe

Cook the bacon until crisp. Roughly chop them into bite-sized pieces.

Heat the broiler. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and place 2 naans on each sheet.

Cook bacon until crispy. Chop each slice into 3 or 4 pieces.

Preheat oven broiler on high (or heat oven to 400F). Put 1/4 of the bacon pieces on each naan. Drizzle each with 1 T. of honey. Top each with 1/4 of the cheese slices and sprinkle with the nuts.

Broil for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.

    Serves 4.
