Mike’s sister, Lauri, made these for Father’s Day 2018. They were absolutely perfect – really tasty and juicy. She did not toss with the sauce – she left that on the side for folks to use if they wished. With my aversion to heat, I’ll do the same thing.
WINGS:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing
3 pounds chicken wings, cut apart at joints, wing tips discarded
SAUCE:
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®), or to taste
Recipe
WINGS:
Mix the 1/2 c. soy sauce, Italian dressing and wings in a large plastic bag. Seal and refrigerate at least four hours, or overnight.
SAUCE:
Mix ingredients and set aside.
TO COOK:
Preheat grill to medium. Drain the wings and pat dry. Grill wings, turning occasionally, until chicken is browned and done – about 25 to 30 minutes.
