    My sister-in-law, Diane made this for her Pampered Chef party and it was really, really good. I think that I would like to try it using puff pastry. I have removed all the unnecessary and silly references to Pampered Chef products (like specific directions to mix the filling in the Pampered Chef ‘Classic Batter Bowl’).

    List of Ingredients




    2 c. (9 oz.) coarsely chopped cooked chicken
    ½ c. diced red bell pepper
    1 t. lemon zest
    3 T. chopped fresh parsley, divided
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
    ½ c. mayonnaise
    1 t. Italian seasoning
    ½ c. (2 oz.) grated fresh Parmesan cheese, divided
    2 (8 oz.) packages refrigerated crescent rolls

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Combine chicken, bell pepper, lemon zest, 2 T. parsley, garlic, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, seasoning mix and 2 T. of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.

    Unroll the crescent dough; separate into triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on a large baking sheet with wide ends overlapping in center and points toward the outside. (There should be a 5” diameter opening in the center.)

    Spoon chicken mixture evenly onto the widest end of each triangle. Bring points of triangles up over filling and tuck under wide ends of dough at center of ring. (Filling will not be completely covered.) Sprinkle remaining parmesan cheese over ring. Bake 28- 30 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.

    Serves 10.
