    Beck @ Mimi’s

    List of Ingredients

    • ½ lb. Italian sausage
    • 9 oz. frozen spinach thawed and squeezed dry
    • 1 c. cottage cheese
    • ½ c. parmesan cheese
    • 1 t. minced garlic
    • 8 oz. Pillsbury crescent rolls
    • 3 slices provolone cheese
    • 3 slices mozzarella cheese

    Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet w/ parchment paper.

    2. In a skillet, cook sausage, drain. (I rinsed the sausage and further crumbled it in a food processor).

    3. In a large bowl mix together spinach, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic and cooked sausage.

    4. Unroll crescent dough into one large 13”x8” rectangle on prepared cookie sheet. Pressing firmly to seal together perforated seams. Spoon spinach mixture in a 4” wide strip down center of rectangle. Top with provolone and mozzarella cheeses.

    5. With scissors make cuts 1” apart on long sides of dough within ½” of filling. Fold strips of dough up over spinach mixture to meet in the center and pinch to seal.

    6. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before cutting and serve warm.
