Hot Ham & Cheese Rolls w/ Mustard Sauce

Recipe Introduction
These were great! Use the sauce sparingly on the tops of the sandwiches, if you decide to do it at all. Too much and it is very gooey! This would make a wonderful lunch dish for a luncheon. You can get everything ready ahead of time and just assemble at the last minute. The easiest way to make the sandwiches is to leave 6-8 rolls connected and slice bread in half, then add all the ingredients in the center like a huge sandwich. Then cut the individual rolls after heating. Mine took about 22 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
List of Ingredients
1 c. mayonnaise
3 T. mustard
1 large onion, finely minced
3 T. poppy seeds
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
½ lb. Virginia baked ham
½ lb. sliced Swiss cheese
3 pkgs. Pepperidge Farm party rolls, sliced in half
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Blend together mayonnaise, poppy seeds, onion, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Spread sauce on the insides of both sides of buns (you don’t want this too thick – you will probably have some of the sauce left over when you finish – it makes a great hamburger or sandwich spread). Add ham and cheese slices (make sure that you have cheese on both sides of ham – when it melts, it helps hold the sandwich together). If you like you can spread sauce on top of rolls before baking. Wrap with foil (Reynolds Release works very well for this).
Bake for 15 minutes or until heated through.
