Dill-Lemon Sauce for Salmon
Source of Recipe
Jessica, with some help from the internet.
Recipe Introduction
Jessica made this sauce for a meal she made that consisted of roast salmon, broccoli, and roast potatoes. This is not a thick sauce, so when she poured it over the salmon, it kind of went everywhere. Turned out that was a good thing – this sauce was perfect with each element of that meal.
List of Ingredients
8 T. butter (one stick)
2 T. minced garlic
8 oz. cream
2 T. Dijon mustard
2 T. dry white wine
2-3 T. chopped fresh dill
2-3 T. fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. When melted add the garlic and cook until softened, but do not brown. Add the cream and whisk in the mustard and wine and the rest of the ingredients. Heat for about 10 minutes then increase the heat to medium. Do not allow to boil. Taste and adjust seasonings, as needed.
Makes enough sauce for 4 servings of salmon.
