Jo's Chinese Sweet & Sour Sauce

Recipe Introduction
A really good sauce that she uses for beef fondue, but it would be great with chicken or fish, too.
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup, orange juice
1/2 cup, pineapple juice
1/2 cup, tomato paste
1 cup,vinegar
1 cup, sugar
1 teaspoon, salt
2 generous tablespoons, cornstarch
1/3 cup, cold water
Recipe
In a heavy saucepan, mix all ingredients except for the cornstarch and water. Over medium heat bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
In a small bowl make a slurry with the cornstarch and water. Slowly mix this into the simmering sauce. Cook until thickened – about one minute.
Makes about 3 1/2 cups of sauce.
