    A very simple and fast side dish. I served this with Honey-Lime Drumsticks and it goes perfectly. I made a couple of changes. After tasting, I found this a little bland, so I added some ponzu sauce – that did the job. Also – I think that one bag of the snow peas is enough. If you buy the ones in the bag, you still have to string them. The directions don’t tell you to, but – trust me – you do.

    List of Ingredients




    2 (6-ounce) packages microwave-in-bag snow peas
    1 (8.5-ounce) pouch precooked brown rice (such as Uncle Ben's)
    1 teaspoon grated lime rind
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    Ponzu sauce, to taste

    Recipe



    Make the snow peas and rice according to the package directions. Mix together in a bowl and add the salt, pepper and Ponzu sauce to taste.

    Serves 4.
