    This is a wonderfully tasty and easy to make snack. A little salty, a little sweet - it is great with drinks!

    List of Ingredients




    8 thick slices of meaty bacon
    3 cups salted roasted peanuts
    4 candied pineapple rings, cut into 1/3-inch triangles
    2 tablespoons sesame seeds
    1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    Kosher salt

    Recipe



    Cook the bacon by your preferred method until it is cooked through, but not crisp. Cut the bacon into 1-inch pieces.

    Heat the oven to 350F. In a bowl, mix the bacon and the rest of the ingredients except the salt. Spread on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, stirring once. The bacon should be crisp and browned. Season with salt to taste and stir until cooled. Store airtight.

    Makes about 4 1/2 cups.
