This is delicious on cheese or drizzled over Skip�s Bleu Cheese Puff Pastry Pockets. When I first made the pockets, it occurred to me that they would be good with the pepper infused honey that had been on an appetizer I had at Ocean Boulevard in the Outer Banks. I just improvised that time, but recently found a similar idea online. In that recipe were other ingredients that I didn�t want to use and also they didn�t heat it. I think that heating the honey with the pepper infuses more of the pepper flavor.


List of Ingredients




1/2 c. honey
2 t. freshly ground black pepper


Recipe



Pour the honey into a microwave safe measuring cup. Stir in the pepper and microwave for one minute at 50% power. Let cool, place in a plastic container and cover. No need to refrigerate.
