    Lucious on fruit salad or to add to a vinegrette.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/2 c. water
    • 5 c. sugar (I used Splenda and it wasn't thick, but tasted great!)
    • 2 c. chopped lemon grass
    • 1/2 c. julienned fresh ginger
    • 4 lemons, zested and juiced


    Instructions


    1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until all the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool.
    2. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a clean container. It will keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
