    Microwave Corn on the Cob

    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    Recipe Introduction

This is the easiest way to cook a few ears of corn. You don't have to shuck it in advance. I've never tried to cook more than 4 at a time, but it takes so little time to do it that you could easily do batches.

    List of Ingredients

Corn on the cob - unshucked

    Recipe

Place the corn in the microwave and cook on high for 3-5 minutes (depending on how done you like your corn). Cool slightly. Slice off the stalk end (up to the 2nd or 3rd row of corn) and grasp firmly by the silk end and shake hard. Keep your other hand under the cut end so that the corn doesn't shoot off into the room. It will slide out leaving most of the silk behind.
