    Roasted Brussel Sprouts

    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    Recipe Introduction

This results in delicious sprouts, but they can burn or turn to mush in a second, so watch and test often!

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    1 T. balsamic vinegar

    Recipe

Heat oven to 400 F. Trim the sprouts – cut off the bottoms and remove any bedraggled leaves. Slice in half if the sprouts are larger. Leave tiny ones whole.

Toss with olive oil, pepper and a PINCH of salt (the balsamic will add saltiness, so you want to be cautious with it now). Spread on a baking sheet covered with non-stick foil. Place in oven and roast for anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on their size. They should be tender and browned. Just before you judge that they are done, sprinkle with the vinegar.

    Serves 6.
