    Cherry Coffee Cake

    List of Ingredients




    Cake:
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. almond extract
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling (or other flavor)
    Streusel Topping (recipe below)

    Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs until fluffy. Stir in almond extract. Combine flour, salt and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Spread in greased 9x13 pan. Spread pie filling on top. Sprinkle with streusel topping. Bake at 375° for 30-40 minutes, or until done.

    Streusel Topping:
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon

    Combine until crumbly.
