    Time consuming, but worth it!


    List of Ingredients


    • 6 lasagna noodles
    • 2 TB oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef
    • 1 med. onion, chopped
    • 1 1/4 cup hot water
    • 1 pint cottage cheese
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. basil
    • 1/2 tsp. pepper
    • 1 TB. parsley
    • 2 (6 oz) cans tomato paste
    • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
    • 1/2 lb. Provolone cheese, grated
    • Parmesan cheese


    Instructions


    1. Cook noodles according to directions.
    2. Saute onion & garlic in oil until tender.
    3. Add beef & seasonings, cook until brown. Drain. Add tomato paste & hot water. Simmer 10-15 minutes.
    4. Blend beaten eggs & cottage cheese; set aside.

    5. In a long dish, layer sauce, noodles, cottage cheese & eggs, and 1/2 of both cheeses. Repeat until all is used. Top with Parmesan cheese.
    6. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
