These are sooooo good. But guess what... you can have 2 and not worry about it!
List of Ingredients
Shish Ke Bobs
1 lb. tender cut beef steak
1/2 lemon
2 tsp. each, salt & pepper
1/4 to 1/2 cup Oilve oil
Veggies of choice (I use zucchini or other small squash, cherry tomatoes,quartered small, onions, mushrooms of course, green and red peppers.
Recipe
Mix seasonings in small bowl and set aside. Soak wooden skewers in water.
Cut beef cubes 3/4" to 1" square; dump into a large bowl with lid.
Sprinkle seasonings over meat tossing until well coated. Squeeze lemon over top of meat and toss. Pour olive oil over top of meat mixture and toss until well coated. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, get your veggies ready for skewering, chop them into 1" to 1 1/2" pieces or strips or however you choose. Coat the veggies lightly with olive oil (important, so they won't burn).
After the 15 minutes are up, skewer veggies alternating with meat and grill until done. If you need to brush on more olive oil, then do so but be careful that the grill doesn't flare up; this will cause your veggies
to look black.
