    BEEF AND CABBAGE SOUP

    List of Ingredients

    1-Brown 2 lbs. of ground chuck or round. If a lot of liquid accumulates, drain it off. I leave just a little for flavor.
    2-Place in your crockpot and add the following:
    a large onion, sliced thin
    a small to medium head of cabbage, sliced thin.
    a large can of diced tomatoes
    a medium can tomato sauce.
    whatever low carb vegetables you prefer such as celery, summer squash (including zucchini) or cut green beans.
    2 or 3 pinches of Kosher coarse salt
    pepper
    about 2 tablespoons (to taste) (optional) of hot pepper sauce.
    Cover the crock pot and allow to cook 6-8 hours.
