    Dad's Chicken Noodle Soup

    List of Ingredients

    8-10 Chicken Thighs, or 1 Whole Chicken(cut up)
    3 Peeled Carrots, diced or sliced large
    3 stalks Celery, sliced c/w some minced celery leaves
    1 Medium Onion, diced
    2-3 Cloves Garlic, minced

    1 carton Low Sodium Chicken broth, 900 ml
    8 cups cold water

    1 to 2 tsp Salt, or to taste
    1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
    1/2 tsp Celery salt
    1 tsp Dried Dill

    1/2 bag of Egg Noodles, Large or Extra Large size

    Recipe

    Method:
    Add Chicken pieces, and vegetables to pot. Add Stock, Dill, and water to cover. Bring heat up to a boil, then lower to medium, and cook for about 1 hour. Remove from heat. Remove Chicken pieces, and cool. Remove all skin and bones from Chicken. Cut into bite sized pieces, and return to soup. Skim fat from top of stock, and discard. Bring soup back up to low heat. Add Salt, a little at a time, to desired taste. Add more if you wish. Add Ground Pepper, and Celery salt. Simmer.
    Cook noodles in a seperate pot. Drain, and roughly cut up. Add to soup.
    Laddle into bowls and adjust seasoning to personal preferences. Serve with fresh Rye Bread, and butter
