    6 pounds Jonathon apples - peeled, cored, chopped
    3 cups sugar
    3 sticks cinnamon
    3 small pieces star anise
    1/3 cup water (use water from boiled peelings)

    Recipe



    Cook on high in crockpot for 12-14 hours.
