9-inch Double Pie Crust
7 cups Baking Apples, thin-sliced, cored, peeled (about 7 medium)
1 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener Granular
3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4tsp Nutmeg
1/8 tsp Salt
Recipe
1.. Prepare or purchase a double pie crust and set one crust into a 9-inch pie pan.
2.. Preheat oven to 425° F.
3.. Place sliced apples into a large bowl and set aside.
4.. Combine SPLENDA® Granular, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a small bowl.
5.. Sprinkle the mixture over apples and toss.
6.. Spoon apple mixture into piecrust.
7.. Place the second crust over the filling.
8.. Seal edges, trim, and flute. Make small openings in the top crust following your preferred pattern.
9.. Bake in 425° oven until the top crust is golden brown
(40-50 minutes). Serve warm or chilled.
