    CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA NUT OATMEAL COOKIES

    1 pkg. (2 layer) white cake mix
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
    1 1/2 c. semi-sweet choc. chunks or chips

    Recipe



    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, flour, oats, melted butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat on low speed for 1 minute or just until smooth. Stir in nuts and chocolate. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared sheets. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool 1 minute on wire racks or until firm on baking sheets then remove to racks and cool completely.
