CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER DREAMS

List of Ingredients

1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. creamy peanut butter
3/4 c. margarine
1/3 c. water
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. choc. chips
1/3 c chopped peanuts
4 tsp. veg. short.



Recipe

Preheat oven to 350. Beat brown sugar, peanut butter, and margarine until fluffy. Blend in water, egg, and vanilla add dry ingredients. Mix well. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten to 1/4" thickness with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8 - 10 minutes. Cool

In a saucepan melt choc. chips and veg. shortening. Stir until smooth. Top each cookie with 1/2 tsp. choc. and sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Chill until set.
