    Oldfashioned Molasses Sugar Cookie

    Here is a recipe for Molasses cookies. I have made these many times and they come out yummy!

    List of Ingredients




    Preheat oven to 375 degrees
    6-8 minutes
    3/4 cup butter or margarine
    1 cup sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup light or dark molasses
    1 egg
    2 cups sifted all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger

    Recipe



    With mixer mix margarine & sugar till creamy. Add molasses & egg, beat till well blended. Sift together baking soda, ground cinn,flour,salt,cloves,ginger. Cover and chill.

    Form dough into 1 inch balls-roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Cool on rack.
