Meatball Soup
List of Ingredients
ground beef
2-3 large potatoes, cubed
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 onion, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup of corn
1/2 cup of peas
2 bay leaves
12 whole allspice
1/4 cup flour
2 beef oxo cubesRecipe
Mix ground beef into meatballs. Place into a pot of boiling water with the onion, bay leaves and allspice. Boil until done. Make a paste with flour and water. Add to the meatballs. Add the oxo cubes. Boil for 10 minutes, then add the potatoes, carrots, corn and peas. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover with water. Cook until done.
*** Remeber to remove the allspice before serving.
*** For a spicier soup use Montreal Steak Spice .
