    Cream Cheese Mints

    Recipe Introduction

    NOTES : Makes approximately 200 mints. Note: Green or pink food coloring -- wintergreen flavor Yellow coloring -- lemon flavor Pink or plain -- peppermint For chocolate mints, add 3 tsp. cocoa and 1/2 tsp. vanilla.

    List of Ingredients

    8 Oz. Cream Cheese (room temperature)
    1/2 tsp. Flavoring
    Food coloring as desired
    3 1/2 cups Confectioner's Sugar (approximate)

    Yield: "200 Mints"


    Good luck and enjoy these wonderful little mints.



    Recipe

    Beat cream cheese until soft. Add coloring and flavoring. Gradually add sugar. Knead until consistency is like pie dough (for firmer mix add sugar). Roll in marble-sized balls.
    Dip one side into granulated sugar or colored crystal sugar. Place, sugar side down, into cavity of mold, pressing from edge to center. Unmold at once onto wax paper.
