    "Cameron's Stovetop Smoker Cooking Guide"

    Recipe Introduction

    Smoked Hotdogs

    List of Ingredients

    Quality Hot Dogs or Frankfurters
    Buns
2 Ounces Beer from 1 bottle or can
1 tablespoon Oak Wood Chips for smoking
    Condiments

    Recipe

I use Camerons Stove Top Smoker Cooker

pour just enough Beer into the drip tray to cover the bottom

Smoke on medium heat for 15 minutes per pound.

Remove from heat, quickly open the lid and put buns on top of the dogs.

Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes more.

Serving Ideas : This is Picnic Food - anytime you have a Hot Dog it's a Picnic

NOTES : I like to use Brat Buns or small Sub Buns. I also like to use Omaha Steak Frankfurters instead of store brands. These Franks from Omaha weigh 8 to 1 1/2 pounds and come uncooked from Omaha. I think this recipe also works well with Brats, but I prefer the frankfurters or Dogs. Also I like to use Non-Alchoholic Beer like Sharps or O'Douls, but of course regular Beer is fine if you want to use that.
