    Recipe Introduction


    Pre-heat oven to 450 F.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup sorghum flour

    1/2 cup amaranth flour

    2 Tbls golden flax seed meal

    1 Tbl xylitol

    1 egg

    1/2 Tbl baking powder

    1/2 cup water

    safflower oil to coat the pan




    Recipe



    Pre-heat oven to 450 F.

    Coat the bottom of 8 or 9 inch round pan or cast iron skillet and place in oven while it is pre-heating.

    Add all ingredients together and mix together well.

    Pour batter into hot skillet.

    Bake approx 18-20 minutes, testing with a toothpick for doneness.

    Jamie's Note: Bread was moist and sweet - texture was good.
