    QUICKBREAD, BROWN

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups all bran
    2 cups sour milk
    2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons molasses
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup raisins boiled in 1/2 cup hot water
    1 teaspoon shortening
    1 teaspoon salt

    Recipe

    Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Put in greased metal cans, 2/3 full. Makes 4-No. 303 cans full. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
