    Biscuits, Cheese Whey

    Recipe Introduction

    If you make homemade cheese this is a good way to utilize the leftover whey. I also use it in french bread for a sourdough like flavor.

    List of Ingredients

    2 C flour
    1/4 C fat
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 T baking powder
    1 C liquid whey
    1/2 C homemade cottage cheese
    dime size bunch of chives, chopped

    Recipe

    Combine dry ingredients, cut in fat, stir in 1 C whey, 1/2 C cheese and chopped chives. Pat out on floured board. Cut into biscuits and let set 15 minutes. Bake at 375 for 1/2 hour.
