List of Ingredients
2 C flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C butter
1/2 C buttermilk
1/2 C fruit juice (or water)
1/4 C half and half
3 T brown sugar (or white)
Recipe
Combine dry ingredients. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or fork to the consistency of coarse cornmeal. Stir in the liquid ingredients. Drop the dough by heaping tablespoons. Bake at 375 degrees 15 minutes or until browned and exterior is crispy. Serve with fruit on top.
