    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 c unsalted butter, at room temperature
    • 1 shallot (or 2 cloves garlic) finely minced
    • 5 T minced fresh parsley
    • 1 T minced fresh thyme, rosemary, savory or oregano
    • 1 T dried herbs; thyme, rosemary or oregano (optional)
    • salt to taste


    Instructions


    1. Beat ingredients until well combined. Place in a ramekin or crock. Or roll into a tight cylinder on wax paper and enclose in plastic wrap.
    2. Can be chilled for 2 weeks or frozen up to 6 months. Leave out at room temperature before serving.
