    2 C sugar
    1 C light corn syrup
    1/2 C water
    1 C butter
    2 C regular peanuts
    1 tsp baking soda
    2 C Gurleys chip coconut (or dessicated coconut chips, from bulk bin at the market)

    Recipe



    Combine sugar, syrup and water in a 3 quart pan. Bring to a boil. Add the butter and stir frequently until it reaches 230 degrees F. Add the nuts, boil and continue to stir until it reaches 300 degrees F. Quickly remove from heat and add baking soda. Mix well and add coconut. Pour into 2 well greased cookie pans. As it cools stretch it thin by pulling from the edges. Cool and break into pieces.
