    RECIPE IS FROM THE 1930'S AND THE WHITE SYRUP IS MOST LIKELY LIGHT KARO.

    List of Ingredients




    2 C sugar
    1/2 C water
    1/2 C white syrup
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Recipe



    Put sugar, water and syrup in pan, stir well until dissolved. Let boil until "light Crack" stage.
    Beat egg whites, pour syrup over, then add vanilla. Beat until creamy. Drop by teaspoon on oiled cookie sheet.
    Add raisins or dried chopped fruit during beating process.
